So you know everyone is doing it! Why is it so special? Well, it works. Juicing, that is! What is the process? You buy vegetables, put them in a juicer according to a recipe, and then you drink the juice. It's that simple.
Depending on your current regimen, you may feel hungry for a day or two. You may even get light-headed. Why do those juicing machines cost so much? In reality, you'd save some major dollars on food and drink, as you're limited to fruits, vegetables, and water. Has anyone done this? I have a few friends that are doing it. Four of them have been doing it for at least 30 days. I suppose there are plans you can find that will provide recipes.
I know how to eat well and clean. I also know what to do in the gym. Why can't I just do it? I'm so tired lately...
I guess I'll go to bed now.
I used to juice for breakfast...then I became extremely averse to spinach after getting prego and my usual concoctions made me gag to even smell them. I still make up a juice every once & while, and I'll probably start up again after baby gets here. But it is hard to get it established as part of a routine b/c it's so much easier to just pour a bowl of cereal in the morning...
ReplyDeleteSteph,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your input! I ended up buying a juicer after I tried Mean Green by blending and straining the very first time. I've never felt so great! I juice about 3 times per week and usually only do it for breakfast. It gives me the energy and stamina for most of the work day. When I have a tournament, I will bring it with for "lunch" too. Juicing for breakfast isn't too difficult, though, as I will usually make a few days together so it's just grabbing it out of the fridge. Plus, I always eat in the car. Sipping is much easier.
Guess that baby won't like spinach. So weird the things you can't control. I'm sure you're like of it will come back, though. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy days!
